Search Engine

Hey everyone!

So I’m getting back into the development of the main site and have been toying around with some search engine and spider ideas. Any of my technical users out there know of a good, linux-compatible, database driven search engine?

For the non-technical users, what features would you be interested in when looking for a search engine?

Leave comments or send an email to webmaster [at] campusversed [dot] com if you have any ideas or suggestions.

Happy Summer by the way! I think everyone is out of school by now.. or starting for the summer.

Do you like the new theme?

UMD College Park Student makes History with Diditz

I read an interesting story this morning on one of my favorite sites which is “The Route One for Life Project.” Essentially, there’s a new Facebook app called DID-Itz which is a new approach at the galleries. The designers are right from my backyard at UMD and have what is promising to be a great application. The article also lists some other UMD alums who are well known for their entrepreneurial ventures. It’s a short article and a must-read for those attending UMD. UMD College Park Student makes History with Diditz
